I just can't stand, seeing beautiful ladies, with the cigarette in between their fingers, and puffing with pride. Cantik tapi sayang sekali, janganlah kau berbangga dengan batang rokok kau. What a waste! Bidah! Kawan-kawanku yang smoking, jangan terasa, ngam2 sia nampak satu sumandak yang lawa ni hari, but buruk ni: smoking dengan penuh bergaya. aish.

Bukan mau complain, tapi memang mau complain.Today, ngam2 mau ambil barang, saya pergi cari tu kunci, jadi tanya dulu si kawan mana tu kunci. Waduh-waduh, dia tengok saya pun satu macam, balik-balik saya panggil dia, di depan saya ni, tidak juga mau dia tengok. "What's wrong with her?" Dia terus jalan, second time saya jumpa lagi si kawan, tanya lagi soalan yang sama, "Di mana tu kunci?" The way she replied, only God knows. I felt like thousand of spears stabbed into my heart. I walked away instantly, holding no grudge against her. Still thinking, "Dia menopause sudah kah tu atau kena PMS?" I just don't understand on such silly attitude.

First time sia masuk Blue Seven semalam, ndak jugalah sia sakai. First time sia nampak tu band, adui mau pengsan, punya masam the faces, then sambil dengar dorang nyanyi, sia makan tu popcorn, atukui, punyalah spicy, salty and tasteless, 3 flavours, disastrous recipe ever. Anyway, we had birthday party celebration for Fletcher last nite. Awesome night indeed, especially the best part kami CUCI MATA, laughing out loud with those crazy dancing moves, and of course we saw this tall guy who was trying hard to woo the short lady. We had a quick bet that the guy would bring her to the hotel, trying hard for hours to win the heart of the lady, rubbing against each other, oh come on, get a room. :p Surprisingly, the crowd was getting better after midnight,especially with Kadazandusun folks, bah Penampang area kan. For the Pinoy band, I guess they should do more workout as to improve their stamina, itu lemaks sana perut berguyang-guyang jugalah. Thanks to my Samsung Galaxy Note, iklan dulu, at least we captured those moments, the rest of the video clips would be a secret. lol

Duduk sambil minum my hot milo, kadang-kadang sia terfikir, kenapa sesetengah orang, suka jeles-jeles. Yang paling sandi, envy tahap dewa oh si kawan. Begini, paling bagus kan, jangan buang masa layan orang-orang yang suka cakap buruk atau yang mau cari gaduh. Don't waste your time. Stay optimistic, and busy with your stuff. Always look at the bright side of each people. Kunun-kununlah, human nature bah to dwell in juicy gossips, the worst, backstabber. Just give you several examples:

Broke up with my girlfriend due to certain circumstances, but he made it as a joke.
Bought new handphone because my old phone sudah hangkang, but he made it sarcastic remark with other things.
When I advised certain things, he said 'Well, that's my money, so what!"
When asking for help, he started with irritating remarks to address you.

I'm still human bah,some people might think that my life is that gorgeously beautiful all the time, the truth is, ada juga yang berusaha mau kasih rusak my happy moment. So for now, live my life to the fullest, cut and throw away the bad apple.

Cemburu Buta: Sang Merak dan Sang Gagak

Sang Gagak dan Sang Merak, dua-dua orang bilang best friend. Pada asalnya, dua-dua mereka berwarna putih dan kelihatan serupa. Pada suatu hari, Sang Merak terjumpa nenek tua, "Wahai sang Merak, selamat datang ke rumah nenek yang sudah mau buruk ini. Maukah kamu tinggal di sini?" Si Merak pun bilang "Okay bah kalau ko." Selepas satu malam bermalam di sana, nenek tua itu berkata, "ada apa-apa lagi yang kau mau, wahai sang Merak?" Si Merak menjawab, "Tidak apalah nek, yang penting ko sihat" Nenek pun bagi tau si Merak, "Kalau ko limpas tu sungai, jangan lupa minta wish." So, dia pun teruskan perjalanan dan ternampaklah sungai, tiba-tiba dia teringat kata-kata nenek tu, so dia pun buatlah wish. Then truskan perjalanan balik ke rumah.

Sampai di rumah, sambil si Merak sibuk bercerita dengan sang Gagak, tiba-tiba pancaran bulan memancar sama si Sang Merak, dan ia pun bertukar, menjadi lebih cantik. Sang Gagak pun terkejut dan dia tanya, "Macam mana bah ko bikin ni, saya pun mau." Si Merak bagi tau, "Oh, sia pergi sana hutan bah tu, then terjumpa tu rumah tua yang ada nenek dan ...." Belum lagi si Merak habis bercerita, si Gagak pun terus terbang pergi rumah usang itu.

Si Gagak pun masuk, dan nenek yang tua itu pun menjemput dia bermalam. Si Gagak menjawab, "Punya buruk rumah kau ni, begini saya mau tau, macam mana mau jadi cantik macam si Merak?" Nenek pun menjawab, "Oh itu permintaan dari sungai bah tu, tapi nenek sarankan kamu stay lah dulu di sini, gelap bah ni" Si Gagak menjawab, "It's okay, geli saya mau tinggal sini, buruk rumah ko nenek.." Terus dia terbang ke sungai, dia ingat tu sungai, rupa-rupanya parit, jadi dia pun make a wish. Tunggu punya tunggu, nothing happen, so dia balik terus. Sampai di rumah, si Gagak marah si Merak, "Kau bilang saya pun boleh jadi macam kau, tiada pun apa-apa, penipu saja.." Tiba-tiba angin kencang tiup ke rumah mereka, dan kelihatan cahaya gerhana bulan di luar jendela, dan tiba-tiba si Gagak bertukar menjadi hitam. "Argh, kenapa begini, hitam? Bukan ini yang saya minta. Sial punya orang tua, menipu saja!"

Sang Merak berkata, "Dalam kehidupan seharian, haruslah kita belajar erti hormat kepada orang tua. Apa yang orang lain dapat, jikalau lebih baik daripada kita, haruslah kita bersyukur apa yang kita ada. Dan yang paling penting, jangan buat tuduhan tanpa memeriksa cerita sebenar. Belajar menjadi seorang yang bersifat merendahkan diri, bukannya angkuh, kadang-kala, kita mau belajar menjadi lebih bersifat terbuka, untuk mendengar pandangan orang lain."

Just imagine bah, satu mercun, bukan yang kecil-kecil, yang basar punya, around RM500 jugalah, setiap kali kita nampak di langit, trus kami bilang, wah, bakar duit. haha. Anyway, baru-baru ni, satu kejadian di mana seorang pemuda yang baru satu bulan kahwin, mati kerana mercun, around Luyang area. Meletup di muka dia. Adui, kasian jugalah. Korean BBQ So Yummy

Yes indeed I miss Korean food so much. Hanging out with my friends, exchanging stories while enjoying the BBQ.at Korean Bbq Supul Restaurant, City Mall. So far, this is one of the best Korean BBQ, it is pretty close to the original flavour in Seoul, South Korea. I would highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

A Princess with a Bad Breath

I was teaching my 5 Kembara students, somehow, diverted to one story, a real story of someone whom I knew for so long.

Princess Anna and Prince Alfonso have been together for so long; however, Prince Alfonso has been wondering on the reason of why the Princess is refusing to look at the Prince face to face.

Prince: My dear princess, we have known each other for so long.
Princess: Yes indeed my sweetheart.
Prince: But, .. I ..
Princess: Something troubling your heart.
Prince: You see, I never have any chance talk to you face to face all the time, it is always side by side.
Princess: Yes, it has to be like that.
Prince: But why? I just want to exchange our romance through French kiss.
Princess: Is it a must?
Prince: Your beauty surpasses the moon and stars. As if it is untouchable. Unless, you are having someone in your heart now. Are you cheating on me?
Princess: Nope. Only you dwell in my heart, no one else.
Prince: So what's the problem?
Princess: Will you accept whatever weaknesses I have?
Prince: It is your heart that I desire to own, regardless whether you are sick or not, I'm always there for you.
Princess: Promise to me that you will always stay faithful to me?
Prince: Yes, I will. I swear to God.

The Princess is taking her chance, being brave enough to see face to face with the Prince.

Prince: Finally, the moment has come. Looking at your face, the beauty of a goddess. The happiness bursts in my heart.
Princess: Hmm...
Prince: You are always mine.
Princess: Yes ..(She utters gently to the Prince)
Prince: .... (feeling dizzy and thereafter fainted)
Princess: My prince, what happened to you? Wake up?

The promises that the Prince has made finally shattered into pieces when he realises that the bad breath is unbearable to him. The Princess has finally migrated to another kingdom, hoping to find the remedy that will cure her sickness. For now, she is relying on the tablet of sour, but it lasts for few minutes. Just imagine that she has to chew that whenever she wants to talk to people.

My old girlfriend, Ms Sony Ericsson had finally decided to leave me, without my consent. I had no other choice but to get myself new girlfriend, and she came all the way from Seoul, Korea, she is Samsung Galaxy Note. I do miss Ms Sony, and sent her for repair. Guess what, it's FIXED. Still admiring her, which thereafter I have decided to use her as my alarm clock, though she's quite petite, but pretty handy. Currently, I'm trying to familiarise with all the features in this S. Galaxy Note, quite sophisticated. I only have one word for my new gf: COOL. ^_^

Summary of the Year 2011: Rollercoaster Rides

Let's do quick review of what has happened throughout the year 2011
Love:

Can't say much, it was a rollercoaster ride; nevertheless, still keeping my fingers crossed that everything's gonna be cool. The biggest problem will be with my busy schedule, I guess no one can stand on my self-centred mode as I gave more priority on my career. Saw my good friends on wedding mode, congrats to them. My time will come, I guess not the year 2012, but later.

Career:

School has always been busy ground. I was given 12 posts with the hardcore position. lol. And I'm glad I can handle all of it in spite of the stress and turbulent moment. Having other jobs, need to find extra money as to support my mother's condition, it is not that easy, but that's life. Can't complain about it. Anyway, with the new system, we have to perform better for the year 2012, with promising increment. Okay, will work on that.

Travelling:

The best of the year. Flew to Seoul Korea, Jakarta Indonesia, Kota Bharu Kelantan, Taiping Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Sandakan, and supposedly to Bangkok Thailand, but due to my work, I have to postpone my trip. Among all the places, I still love Seoul City, beautiful culture. I love the food and the idea of romanticism over there. Next year gonna be more fun as I suppose. Need to save more money.

Health:

I hate ulcers, I guess not enough water or experiencing stress within myself. I can't remember all of it, perhaps, intoxicating myself with alcohol, just joking.

Friendship:

Expanding my circles of friendship, pretty cool, I have various groups of friends with different needs. Love them all.

Goal for next year:

Just do my best. Cheers.

The twist of Merchant of Venice: You are not Lady Portia?

Bassanio has gone through his own turbulent, taking risk with Shylock's risky agreement. The search for Lady Portia is indeed difficult albeit Antonio has promised to give his favour to him. He met a man named Othello who introduced to him, a lady named Portia. He explained in great details the admired quality of hers. To cut the story short, Othello the moor, died due to his own vain when Bassanio found out that it was not the real Lady Portia. He slapped the disguised woman, "How dare you do this to me? With all your lies. Curse upon you." Bassanio learned another lesson for not trusting that kind of man, Othello, who is full of deceits, praising someone's quality as to humiliate Bassanio. Antonio consoled him and reminded him, that karma is full of vengeance, it bites.

11 Years Later: 2nd SMK Bahang Reunion Dinner

Michelle can't make it.

After 11 years, guess what, all of us have transformed into various sizes and shapes. hahaha. For this 2nd reunion, last year was done in smaller scale at Upperstar, Kota Kinabalu. As compared for this year, we had it at Cempaka Square, VVIP Party Room, it fits for larger group. As one of the co-organisers, I felt wonderful to meet up some of them whom I can't recognise at all, trust me, after 11 years, lots of changes, unless you see them like everyday. It would be great to host this event every single year, well, when I created the group via Facebook, it really helps, believing that everyone is into Facebook nowadays, it connects everyone. The theme was White in Glamorous , though not everyone was in white. In conclusion, it was a great success in spite of the unexpected challenges. Cheers.

Someone asked me whether there'll be probability for us to reconcile. I have yet to see that. Perhaps, I'm just a caviar to the general (laughing jokingly) or should I say an easy meat. Why should I chase the rainbow when it has too many secret admirers. As I reckoned the recent dreams, the old man suggested that I have to help her, when I foresee on what should have manifested, sadness dwells in me. The worst pain that would come as a great reminder, the killing migraine. I'll pray that she will heed the advice, if not, the lady in black will take her place. Anyway, I'm enjoying my Merlin, Season 4 show right now. Damn you Morgana, the high priestess of dark forces, witch :p

Gomen Nasai, which means, forgive me, for my silent-ness. I haven't blogged ever since I was into this puppy love drama. Now, my life is back to normal, I think so. Few things I have been grumbling upon, the first was the school magazine, when I was left alone to finish it, and I proved to them that I would finish it eventually. Second, I was busy with the National Archery Circuit, they found out I was in KK, where else I can run...no where I suppose, and Third, dealing with love drama issue.

Last night, while having my father's early birthday celebration during Christmas day, it was another wake up call as if I was slapped by those provocative remarks from my siblings. To keep the story short, it wasn't my intention to be heart breaker, but out of the blue, lots of things hindering us. I wish to mention it, argh, just forget it, there's one thing that I'm fully aware of, the leopard never changes its spots. As I contemplated the whole situation, I felt I was on the rack, take a deep breath, it is over for now. I wouldn't say that a person can be like a snake in the grass, but it might be quite oblique for certain people. My own foolishness for speaking too soon, assuming that's the one. Another expensive lesson to be learned, being dashing together would never suggest that they are perfectly together, one should never go for the front cover of the book, but should evaluate the content as well. For now, it is not the end of the world, stay optimistic.

The Pride of the Rose Flower

In this beautiful garden, the Rose has always been the favourite by her master. "My rose, your crimson petals, sweet scent and affection have always made me happy." The master leaves thereafter, with a big smile.

The rose utters to all the flowers, "Did you listen that? I'm the best. I have been voted as the number 1 flower in this garden. All of you, hideous like a monster will never win our master's heart, except me." She laughs terribly.

Next to the garden, there's this mini pond, with two beautiful koi fish, swimming happily. One of them spoke to the flowers, "If you have heard the story of Snow White, then all of you will understand. Rose, you might be the fairest of them all, but you should understand that such beauty will not last forever."

Rose flower over heard that remark, and angrily refutes the Koi's fish remark, "Look at yourself Lady Koi, swimming in that mini pond, you have not seen the world, come up here, and judge yourself, I have always been the fairest, no one can deny that. Even you can't match my beauty." The Rose turns her face to the other direction, ignoring the koi fish.

During the full moon, the master walks outside his home, and finds the moon scenery as romantic moment. "owh, that is so beautiful." Suddenly, he could smell beautiful scent, "hmmm, lovely scent. Where does it come from? I'm pretty sure it is not from the Rose flower." He strolls around his garden, and trying hard to identify the origin of the scent. Rose, sees the arrival of his master and speaks, "Look, as I have said, master has come for me. I am always right." The master is still searching the scent in spite of singing lovely hymns for his favourite flower, Rose. Till he reaches the pond, he seems to be astounded with this beautiful lotus flower, with the reflection of the moon light, everything seems to be perfectly romantic for him. The Lotus gently blooms with beautiful smile. The sweet scent enlightens the heart and mind of her master.

The master speaks, "You have grown in this dirty pond, but the flower that comes out from you is indeed surpassing the others. The purity of your heart has changed my heart." He walks back to his house happily. Rose herself couldn't stand with that remark, "How dare you Lotus! Trying to use your charm on my master. I know I am the BEST!" Rose sways and hugs her master, "Master, please don't leave me!" The master screams in pain, "Ouch!". The thorns of the Rose have pricked the skin of her master. "Silly Rose flower, beautiful flower indeed; but terribly complements with the thorns. Look at me, I'm terribly hurt because of your thorns. Tomorrow, I'm going to take the scissor to prune you to the fullest, perhaps, eradicates you out from my life forever."

The following day, Rose is screaming in pain, as if she has been tortured in the fires of hell. "Please master, spare my life. One more chance, and I'll be good to you!". In a few seconds, period, that's the end chapter of arrogant Rose. She speaks no word thereafter. All the flowers cheer for themselves, "The Lotus has always been the greatest inspiration to all of us" said Lady Koi to all the fish.

Recently, I have bizarre experience at one of the famous gyms centre around Kota Kinabalu. The story goes like this, ...

I was at the gym doing my workout. During the workout, I observed that this trainer would usually bring along his tablet pc. Normally, he would put the dumbells next to his tablet pc. Suddenly, an aunty came and stepped on the tablet pc. Then she asked the guy, "How come there's no number appear on this weight scale?" The trainer screamed at her, "Aiyoh aunty, that's not digital weight scale-lah, that's my tablet pc!" Realising that the digital weight scale was at the edge of the other equipment. :) Poor silly aunty for not knowing what tablet pc is.

Gold Trade Scam: Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd

A good friend of mine recently shared his story about gold trade, which is currently quite active in Sabah. I myself always sceptical when comes to any kind of investment; personally, thorough research should be carried out as to avoid ourselves from being scammed. Just imagine that all your hardwork, eg. RM50K disappeared just like that when you realise that you have been cheated. Anyway, he asked me to check with BNM, and this was the recent reply from them. From the provided info, I can't straightaway conclude that this is a scam; nevertheless, the following guidelines from BNM may help us to evaluate whether such business concept under the scam category. I strongly advise people out there to do thorough research as to comprehend the nature of the business. Read below.

We note that you have raised issues with regard to the gold investment of Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Genneva). We would like to inform you that buying and selling gold or silver is not under the purview of Bank Negara Malaysia (the Bank), thus the Bank does not issue any license to any company who wish to conduct such activities.

However, if the gold/silver trading - investment scheme clearly offers investment opportunity by collecting deposits from the public and investors are promised investment returns/profits within a certain period of time, whereby the original investment will be refunded or in other words if a company appeared to be involving in illegal deposit taking by using gold/silver to camouflage its activities, it maybe contravene section 25(1) Banking And Financial Institutions Act 1989 (BAFIA).

We have investigated numerous instances involving companies having illegal deposit-taking and trading in gold as their underlying products that might contravene Section 25(1), BAFIA such as Genneva Sdn Bhd, Bestino Group Berhad, Gold Label Sdn Bhd.

Genneva does not require the Bank's approval to conduct the gold bar trading as gold trading is not under the Bank's purview as mentioned above.

Thus, again we would like to take the opportunity to inform members of public that gold trading is not under Bank Negara Malaysia's jurisdiction. Members of public are to be reminded to be more cautious and scrutinize the risk associated with the gold investment before joining any investment scheme which promise higher returns in short-term period.

Investors are advised to check the background of the company and legality of its activities with the relevant authorities to ensure compliance of laws. For example, investors could check with authorities such as Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) with regard to the registration and company business activity registered with CCM. Investors may also like to check the company's financial track record including its sustainability to pay return on investments. i) The source of the gold - where does the company obtain its stocks?

ii) Body that certified the gold purity

iii) Verify the certification by contacting the party who issued the certificate

iv) Verify with goldsmith on the gold purity

v) Why does the company sell the gold at premium?

vi) Is there any return promised to the investors?

vii) How does the company generate profit from its operation?

Investor may report to Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism (KPDNKK) if investor has evidence regarding the poor quality of the gold bought by them as it is under the ministry's jurisdiction for any dispute on products quality.

Appointed as the Chief Editor of CLEO Magazine, how I wish. :p Currently, working day and night to complete this School Magazine project. Just feel a little bit upset when the appointed committees somehow disappeared from the scene, when they themselves know that I have given so many reminders to follow up. I hate when someone gives so many promises, thinking of giving the stars and moons, but it is merely a cloud nine dream, or building up castle in the air. I have my own vision: to create the unorthodox magazine, wish to be different. I know most of the school magazine has this traditional look. Whatever it is, I'll just do my very best. For sure, I will remember those silly idiots for hindering my team from executing the task. Sang Badak teriak: "Wahai kawan-kawan, kamu tahu, sayalah yang paling cantik." Sang Badak mengambil peluang untuk melafazkan statement yang sama kepada semua kawan-kawannya. Teman baiknya, Sang Merak selalu menghiraukan statement si Sang Badak yang tiada-tiada. Pada suatu hari, si Sang Badak berjumpa dengan si Sang Merak, "Oi Merak, kau tau, saya ni cantik dari ko bah. Sang Kuda, Sang Kera dan Sang Girafah

Sang Kura-kura yang dahulunya penasihat kepada Sang Girafah akhirnya telah dipecat dan diarah buang negeri. Sang Kera adalah dalang, ataupun serigala yang berbulukan kambing biri-biri. "Yes, rancangan saya berjaya" kata Sang Kera. Sang Girafah merupakan pemerintah baru selepas berjaya mengulingkan kuasa Sang Singa, yang juga merupakan raja haiwan sebelum ini.

Di dalam kerajaan baru, semua haiwan tidak tahu hala tuju kehidupan mereka, sama ada ia akan menjadi semakin baik atau pun semakin buruk. Sang Kera dengan permainan taktik kotor, sedang memikirkan cara untuk menjatuhkan calon-calon yang boleh mengugatkan pangkatnya sebagai penasihat ataupun digelar bendahara. Sang Kera tidaklah normal seperti kera-kera yang lain, ia ada sedikit kecacatan, iaitu kerabunan di tahap kritikal.

Sang Kuda Ajaib yang baru menjejakkan kaki ke kerajaan Girafah telah dialu-alukan kedatanganya. Tetapi Sang Kuda Ajaib dapat merasakan muslihat Sang Kera, terutamanya daripada bau auranya. Sang Kuda Ajaib membuat keputusan untuk tidak masuk campur dan meneruskan misinya untuk membantu haiwan-haiwan lain yang memerlukan bantuannya.

Pada suatu hari, Sang Girafah membuat keputusan untuk memberikan ganjaran kepada haiwan yang telah berjasa dan seterusnya dicadangkan untuk menjadi pembesar berpangkat tinggi. Sang Kera bersama dengan dalangnya bercadang untuk menutup segala ruang yang membolehkan Sang Kuda Ajaib naik pangkat, dengan apa saja cara.

Pada hari kesyukuran, Sang Kuda Ajaib telah berbesar hati untuk menyertai majlis tersebut. Sewaktu majlis tersebut, Sang Kuda Ajaib mendapati semua ganjaran diberikan kepada dalang Sang Kera. Ia merasakan kesedihan yang teramat sakit di dalam jiwanya. Selepas bekerja keras untuk haiwan-haiwan di kerajaan tersebut, ia merasakan segelintir haiwan-haiwan tidak menunjukkan perasaan menghargai sumbangan Sang Kuda. Beberapa bulan kemudian, Sang Kuda akhirnya telah menerima visi untuk menandakan yang waktunya telah tiba untuk berhijrah ke kawasan baru.

Nickname: Abang Brother??

I guess all of us have our glamourous nickname, betul kan? :P

When I was in Uni, most of my classmates address me as 'Abang Brother'. I'm trying my very best to recall who started that, but failed to remember, was it Annie or Erna?? Not sure, nonetheless, I know few of them always address that, and it actually went around like a disease..lol..especially when I was in UiTM Shah Alam back then. I was sort of the "Ketua Kelas" those days and I'm pretty contented to see how my friends showed their gratitude towards me. aishey, love u all for the endless support.

That's in Uni, as for Secondary School era, most of my best friends know my house nickname, "TT", that's the word. And some of them still address me in that manner, but most of my siblings would prefer to address "TT" in this manner.

As for the other outrageous names, which I am pretending not to remember, assuming that I have forgotten all of it. hahaha... :p

Lucky Charm from Africa???

Yesterday, while waiting for my friends at KL Sentral, I saw this one counter, a pair of black African selling lucky charm from Africa. I wished to do quick snap but afraid that the sellers would cast a spell ..lol. instantly reminded me the story of Looking for the Rain God.. if not, it could be the worst spell, voodoo spell. Nonetheless, I perceived the stuff more like souvenirs, except that the way they labeled it, 'this item brings luck, this item helps to cure back pain..and etc'. Thereafter, I had an interesting conversation with Adel on those lucky charms:

Eric: Adel, ko percaya kah ni barang?
Adel: Arggh, tidaklah.. macam temberang saja ni.
Eric: Sudahlah kita tahu benua Afrika yang paling mundur, skrang boleh2 lucky charm dijual ..
Adel: kalau ni barang boleh kasih LUCK, bagus dorang pakai kasih LUCK dorang duluan...
Eric: Actually kan, dorang yang minta LUCK kama ni....bah, beli lah...
Adel: Ishhh.. ndak mau...

If you happened to travel to Kuala Lumpur, you might notice the arising number of black African community: seeking job opportunity and better living. If I'm not mistaken, when I was in Indonesia, my friend told me the immigration or the government would do strict enforcement on the arrival of black African as they are usually associated with scams and crimes, as for instance, online dating scam. Thus, it is pretty hard to see them in Indonesia region. :)

Thinking of getting married? No offense to anyone of you, but these are the things that you have to ponder before reckoning of having the most extravagant wedding in your life, perhaps, trying to enter the Forbes Chart for the Most Expensive Wedding. It's all started with my friend's upcoming wedding, and I find it quite astounding to spend so much money when he is running out of $$$.

1. Suze Orman says, "Get Married When U R Ready"

At the end of the day, we have to ask ourselves whether we can afford to set up expensive wedding or vice versa. It is such a BAD IDEA to borrow money from others, including our family members. Nonetheless, if the parents are financially well-to-do, surely, I can ascertain that there won't be any problem with lots of financial support. However, I can assure that not everyone has the privilege to have RICH parents to support lavish wedding. As a matter of fact, I remembered someone's wedding whereby her mother forked out her EPF money, that's her retirement fund, nearly RM40K, to support her daughter's wedding when she found out that the groom had no single cent at all. She cried for all the lies of her son-in-law. Shit right...? Last Friday night, I asked my friend, what's your wedding budget, and the answer given was, "Hmmm.. around RM40K.." To make the matter worse: begging from everyone to sponsor his wedding. I really hate when he said, "I'm a zero cash person right now.." WTF! It's your wedding, NOT mine. For God sake, he has the guts to implore from me, "Could you just lend me RM6K only, I can assure you that I will refund the money from the angpow collections.."

2. Silly Tradition

I know I should be proud with my roots; however, I find it silly to have wedding receptions which related to silly traditions. My friend said that he has to organize several wedding receptions: First: Pre-wedding Dinner, Second: At KDCA hall (Bride's reception), Third: At Tun Fuad hall (Groom's reception) and Fourth: At the Bride's house. WHAT THE HELL.... What's all these? I just don't get it: is it necessary to have plenty of wedding celebrations after the church blessing? STUPID. Not just that, it is even silly to make the men suffer to pay the girl as if they have price tag on their body. As for instance, this girl worth RM30K, RM40K or first class up to third class category. As for my friend's case, he has to pay RM35K for the dowry during the engagement, and for now, he has to fork out even more. Craaazy....!

3. How many are many?

This is the hardest question for him, "Honestly, tell me, how many people do you expect to come?" He was silent. Basically, he has no idea at all except that he knows the bride's side gonna be A LOT, (satu kampung). My goodness. So how about the food? No food budget planning. And I found out that he bought 120 cracks of beer (one crack contains 24 cans), you do calculation with your brain. He was thinking that the beer was compulsory to have, and he was forced by his father-in-law to invest in large quantity, (boleh buka kedai 10-3 sudah).

4. Jobless

Thinking of getting married when I found out that he was recently terminated from his job. 2 months without any income. Now, he has the guts to proceed the wedding. At least, he should put some effort to find other jobs as to create financial back up. Sorry to say, his parents and parents-in-law do not even know that he is jobless at this moment. Imagining that he is somewhere on high position, but reality check, he isn't.

5. Idealistic versus Realistic??

At the end of the day, I would rather have thrifty and meaningful wedding celebration. The emphasis would be the church blessing, thereafter, I would throw a simple banquet party right after the church mass, perhaps, at the parish hall, as to show my appreciation to the guests for attending my wedding. Then, I'll proceed for my honeymoon tour. Why should I follow the conventional wedding, the norms of what the society has expected us to do. My brother got married in Australia with the simplest celebration ever. Not to say that he doesn't have money, but it would be good to save the money for future: which is right now, his children, house and future. :) The choice is at our hand, think before we act, never ever do it for the sake of pleasing everyone's heart, but reflect whether we can afford or not.

Journey to the East of Peninsular Malaysia: Coaching Hour

Several days ago, reflecting and asking myself whether it was a joyful news or vice versa... Everything was last minute when I received the news that I had to fly to Kota Bharu for Archery Coaching Course last Saturday. I went to school to check the calling letter, gasping and gulping as I read every single word from the official calling letter. If they were really thinking that I would be the right candidate as one of the Sabah's archery coaches, at least, I should have my own archery set, reckoning that as lame excuse, the National Coach reminded us that there is a fine line between a coach and an archer: never expect the coach to be a great archer, but do give the coach full cooperation as to nurture and facilitate the athletes to be the pride of the nation. I left KK City on last Monday (19 October 2011) and the journey took nearly 12 hours, including the transit period. I was bloody tired with the transit, but at the same time, pretty excited about Kelantan state, one of the states that I have been dreaming to visit.

During the arduous training, I was praying hard that my brain would be spongy enough to absorb every single information, and I could tell you that it was not that easy. Anyway, done my basic training on archery coach, I'm not sure whether there'll be another training... keeping my fingers crossed that I could juggle my time as to provide greater attention to my little children in school, seeing that exam is just around the corner. My sweet memory in Kota Bharu would be the food, all of them were sweet and yummylicious. Frankly speaking, there's no nightlife in Kota Bharu cuz it is known as little Mecca. People seem to be pretty religious: I could see all the reminders to remind people the importance of prayer. Do check the toilet, there are prayers to enter and exit the toilet. Even when you enter the bedroom, there are prayers to enter and exit the bedroom as well.

Alright, for now, I have to find ways to contribute my learned knowledge on archery as to help the athletes. Do pray for me that everything goes smoothly for the Sabah archers, whatever outcomes exhibited by the archers, do not blame the coach alone, holistically, there are so many factors in deciding the success of the archers.

Thanks to Malaysia Airlines, every journey is possible to reach in spite of the missing booking and delays. lol

From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain.

You don't need to be smart to decipher the hidden message, it's pretty obvious, even naive 6-year old kid knows what it means. Yeah, I'm taking this opportunity to update my blog while I'm in this fantabulous city, known as Jakarta (it means Total Victory). I learned that while I was visiting the Maritime Museum. I haven't done my packing, and I have to 'work' for two hours before leaving to the airport. Yeah, some of my friends, knowing me that whenever holiday season comes, I'll be somewhere instead of sitting like a good boy in this beautiful prime location known as KK City. I love KK City bah, and of course Sabah. However, it is irresistible whenever you see the tagline 'Now Everyone Can Fly'. Last June, I was in Seoul, Korea. That was the BEST vacation ever, especially when I met up so many hot chicks. yeah, it was then a drooling moment..

I need a break. Rewarding myself with holiday trip. I'll be away for one week, envisage myself somewhere at the Spa or at the exotic beach, :P ....do my laundry first, oopsie. Just wanna share of how this slapping incident takes place at somewhere, I don't see the rationale of doing it. If it is suggested as one of they physical endurance tests, I would regard this as barbaric act. This is more to bullying case. Someone asked me, "have you ever slapped someone before?", of course I said yes: it was swift and deadly weapon. Knocked out thereafter. lol

Putera Cahaya, yang sedang bertapa di salah satu gua terdengar perbualan antara Raja Macau dan Raja Pokok. Beliau dengan segera memberitahu Raja Macau dengan kuasa telepatinya.

Not for underage group. ^^. I happened to watch Kissing Game in KBS world, it was a late night show. For some people, they might find it a little bit exciting or the opposite way. When a guy smooches another guy, it means different as compared to a guy with a girl. However, I believe the KBS show has its own strategies to attract more female viewers, perhaps. Moreover, kissing activity is pretty common in Seoul, and acceptable in the eyes of the society; nonetheless, showing boobs, or in subtle word, cleavage is a big no-no. Sounds odd, isn't it. Anyway, ready to laugh and giggle as loud as you can. Anyway, I do not hope Malaysia entertainment to emulate this, as it contradicts our culture. Just envisage if all the Malaysia celebrities were being lined up according to the races, ......, Malaysia boleh. Puke moment. lol

TAIPEI - A Taiwanese court has ordered a runaway bride to pay NT$250,000 (S$10,000) in emotional damage to her groom-to-have-been for not showing up at their wedding, local media reported Friday.

The woman, who was five-months pregnant at the time, failed to show up at the wedding ceremony in November after she and her intended had fought over the number of guests to be invited, said the TVBS cable news channel.

The deeply embarrassed groom decided on a whim to ask the maid of honor to stand in the bride's place to fake a wedding, but ended up falling in love with the understudy and later married her for real, the report said.

The groom, who lives in southern Kaohsiung, was victorious in court after he was awarded NT$250,000 in a final verdict, although he had sought NT$1 million in compensation.

The runaway bride gave birth to her baby earlier this year, which she is raising alone, the report said.

Why the 'bad English' in Malaysia?

By the way, the title was quoted from the article, lame title right? lol. Just to respond on the latest article on why Malaysian after learning English language for more than 10 years, yet to master the language like the native speaker? Indeed, we should not expect to be like native speaker as long as there are fluency and accuracy, that's fine for me.

Before that, the Education Minister questioned whether the problem is caused by:

a) Teacher is not competent in teaching that subject

b) Insufficient teachers

c) Inappropriate books

d) English curriculum

My Personal Responses:

This is quite subjective and might be invalid and unreliable as to rely on my experience alone as to substantiate the argument; but it does not mean I'm making the mountain out of a molehill.

a) Teacher is not competent

Trust me, it is not that as easy as ABC to educate the students particularly on mastering the language. Frankly speaking, I have seen Grade AAA quality teachers who have invested their time to arouse students' learning interest towards the language with numerous methods; whereas Grade EEE quality teachers who are ignorance and lack of passion in helping out the students. However, Grade AAA teacher might find it difficult to implement certain interactive programmes to the learners when there's no financial support from the management. As for instance, several years ago, I used to integrate my teaching with ICT whereby laptop and LCD projector were always in the classroom; now, all the sockets can't be utilised albeit I have informed to the respective department on the aforementioned problem. Nonetheless, they would find ways to come up with alternative solutions, keep your fingers crossed on that. In a nutshell, if the teacher has greater commitment, mission, vision and whatever you name it, it is possible to change the learners in gradual manner. The educator in general provides the basic foundation to the learners, and it is up to them to take it to extra mile effort.

b) Insufficient teachers

Not sure about that. However, the number of students in one class seems to be overwhelming. How do you expect a teacher to teach more than 40+ students in a classroom? Too much class control if the students are outrageously wild and inattentive to the lessons.

c) Inappropriate books

One word for it, OUTDATED, and BORING, oops, that's two words right? lol. Nevertheless, the content is still pretty good. Likewise, it's up to the teachers to be more innovative and creative as to create suitable lessons based on the students' capability. A worksman always blames his tool; hence, teachers should not complain that either the book is pretty horrible or students are lazy; but as educator, they are the captain in the classroom. Take extra initiative to be different.

d) English curriculum

Knowing the fact that our curriculum is too exam-oriented; which means, greater focus on reading and writing components. If I'm not mistaken, the Education Minister once commented to assimilate the American Education System as to encourage and engage the learners to do more public speaking, debate, forum and etc in the classroom. However, is it feasible particularly in assessment as aligned in NKRA. I would strongly recommend CHANGES on the current structure due to greater emphasis on exam-oriented aspect; I wish the curriculum planner would formulate effective curriculum that is related to real life, as for instance,

1) Informal letter: we are in ICT era, everyone is using email/facebook to send out letter, do they still need to learn how to write informal letter? I find it quite irrelevant.

2) Narrative essay: most students prefer this type of essay during examination; but it would never suggest that we are going to produce Malaysian writers.

e) We are NOT bookworms?

Are they lazy to read? Reading habit is not inculcated since childhood. That's the problem. Reading is the foundation and the secret to succeed in language mastery. You can't write when you don't read enough; and you can't share your thoughts when you don't read enough. Other countries have implemented electronic reading to the learners in schools, just check Singapore, Korea, Japan and other countries. Just envisage that we have that in our classroom, one thing for sure, either it would be vandalised or stolen from irresponsible individual.

In short, it might take ages to whine on the problems of our education system. Just food for thought, a person who is willing to strive to be better, he or she won't wait for the teacher to guide them from A to Z, if they are driven with strong motivation to learn more, they would definitely go extra mile. Time waits for no one. Just go for it then.

I'm losing my voice, what say you?

"One iced-lemon tea, please", said me to the pilak waitress.

"So, how are you? Busy as usual?" asked Jack, with his biggest grin ever.

"I felt like I'm losing my voice in teaching.." answered me.

"Aih, what happened? Bah, more iced-lemon tea to you?" Jack giggled while calling the waitress.

"Not literally my voice. I have projects in my mind to help the students. Unfortunately, it is difficult to implement when the Deputy Prime Minister rejects the notion. I definitely missed the former Deputy Prime Minister.." replied me, while drinking my juicy ice-lemon tea.

"So what are you going to do now?" asked Jack with his frowning look on me.

"Can't say much right now. I'm glad that the other institution has been very supportive with my project. It is the best platform for me to express my creativity and innovation. Sooner or later, I'm planning to take another scroll of knowledge..", confessed me with mixed feelings.

"Are you saying you are leaving? Where to? Come on, I hope you won't give up your kids. They might still need your advice." pleaded Jack towards me.

"Amoi, another glass of iced-lemon tea please.", raising my right hand while pointing to my empty glass.

"Did i say that? I will tell you more about it." reluctantly to share my thoughts to Jack.

"It's 6.30 p.m. Got to go now." said me to him, while trying to finish up my iced-lemon tea.

Almost Had An Accident: Bloody Monstrous Screw

Recently, I was driving somewhere near the Towering Roundabout at Penampang area. I saw plenty of various sizes of rocks on the road near to the roundabout, while thinking, "kenapa bah banyak batu di sini jalan..buduh betul ni orang, suka-suka buang batu di jalan " The sound of the crushing stone and hammering could be heard in spite of the playing sexy music, Dance on the Floor song, during that time. Just for a few seconds, while driving, I heard another peculiar sound, as if something stuck on my tyre. I stopped at the road side, checking my tyre. "Aih, okay saja ni, apa yang bunyi ni..?", I was a bit puzzled. While entering my car, I saw shabby car workshop on the road side, and the guys, with stained tshirts were standing there, as if they were waiting for someone. I just ignored them. Continued driving the car, and for real, I heard another sound, I felt as if baby's head stuck on my tyre, it was a bit bumpy feeling on the road.

"Aish, masalah besar ni..kenapa bah gia at this hour, sia ada meeting kama ni.." The little voice kept whispering to my ear, "bagus pergi check dulu..mana tau serious..". Instantly turned left and drove to Continental Workshop, "Bos, tolong check dulu, macam ada sound oh itu tayar.." This was the outcome, 5.5 inches bridge screw in my tyre. The mechanic spoke to me, "kalau ko drive laju, memang meletup tu tayar, bukan alang-alang ni skru, besar ni.." Glad that I did not have to change new tyre, he was then inserted rubber on the affected area. For now, I'm not suppose to drive like F1 as to make sure the condition of the tyre will last longer. Without the thrill, once in a while, it should be okay for me to race on the F1 track in KK City. lol.

Saya mau login pun mau ambil masa berapa minit. Kalau pihak kementerian membelanjakan berjuta-juta ringgit untuk sistem ini, kenapa ia tidak boleh handle visitors yang baru ratus-ratus saja, padahal kalau orang main FB, juta-juta bah the users, tapi ndak juga lagging macam ni SAPS. Hari ni kan, saya nampak semua cikgu-cikgu stress gila babas sebab SAPS terlampau SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Siapa bah yang pencipta ni programme? Cuba kau buka minda kau sekejap, bukan kasih senang hidup kami, kasih susah saja. Walaupun objektif sistem ini praktikal dan realistik, tapi bikin panas sebab tidak cukup efektif.

For now, ada yang bangun subuh-subuh, gara-gara mau kasih siap ni kerja gila. oops. Ada pihak atasan mau kerja senang, tapi tidak pandai pergi memantau keberkesanan sistem ini.

It's Sunday morning. Thinking of my piling up laundry, aish. Anyway, another silly post of how to encourage guys to wash off their hands after doing their 'business' in the toilet. Frankly speaking, I do notice that some guys never wash their hands; they just walk out from the toilet. That's pretty disgusting especially when they touch other people. Come on, the palm area contains most germs. At least you need 30 seconds to wash your hands with soap as well.

As I was about to cruise around KK City, I happened to watch this show entitled 'Plain Jane - Friend Zone Jane' at MTV Channel, as for this episode, British fashion expert, Louise Roe is helping to transform an uncomfortably shy and messy Jane who attempts to win her longtime crush whom she knows since college (they have known each other for 6 years); however, the guy only sees 'Jane' as a friend. To keep the story short, I wish I can be the 'guy' in that reality show. lol. Just joking, I love the plot: fresh, unplanned, suspense, hilarious and romantic. I just couldn't envisage that such a good-looking guy who never has a girlfriend since his college-hood, and has been hiding his biggest secret, which is ....., and the reward for being patient eventually bears the sweetest fruit ever in his life.

Next month: the month of Ramadhan, fasting month, the most anticipated month to lose weight as what my colleague has said to me today; lol, I'm not going to do that, I'll eat as much as I can, hoping that nobody would say I'm such an odd-ball. Seoul, South Korea: It is asserted as the nation's heaviest rainfall in decades. The worst thing that could happen would be landslides, flood and other unforeseen events, such as deaths and etc. Personally, I won't be able to envisage such situation, particularly when I was recently in Seoul last month. Perhaps, it's all about timing. It was sunny and the air was pretty breezy, not so much rain. I remembered as I left Seoul City, my dearest friend told me, "Eric, ever since you left Seoul city, it has been raining all day long. I would never favour this kind of vacation. If it is getting worst, I might go back to America pretty soon."

My School Rocks 2011: Who's the WINNER?

My School Rocks 2011, had finally landed in the Land Below the Wind, Sabah. The final destination that had been highly anticipated by students and teachers. As for this year, I had received special invitation from Disney Channel: MSR 2011 to conduct interview for Linda Jasmine and Stacy (Winner of Akademi Fantasia), and as well as the host, which was Farish, famously known for his bubbly and jovial trademark. Understandably, there were 35 teams for secondary school category and I wasn't sure about the primary school, but I heard it was around 40+ teams for primary school category.

Unfortunately, I couldn't send cheerleading team from my school due to hectic schedule on district camping whereby I had been assigned as the emcee for the official closing ceremony at Nexus Karambunai Resort. Guess what, someone stopped me whilst I was walking inside the hall, "Eric, where's your cheerleading team?" I answered her, "hehe..if the cheerleader is not here, terus tidur tidur bah kunun tu..busy bah"

The Champion: SMK Bahang

Anyway, congrats once again to SMK Bahang for emerging as the Champion for 2nd time. With joy and pride, I'm proud, as the ex-SMK Bahang student to see my little brothers and sisters excelled with flying colours. Out of the blues, it reminds me of our ancient memory: it was in the year 1996, when we represented Sabah to national level for dancing competition as well. Thumbs up!

Nonetheless, we were not walking away with empty-handed; good news was trumpeted to our ears when my students bagged the Best Costume award. Million thanks to Andrian for his endless help. Brilliant idea albeit it was at the eleventh hour :)

I'm a Celebrity now: Sleepless in the Jungle movie

Donna, "You are now a celebrity, my friend." I replied to her, "otokoi, puke all over places. Just taking the role as a supporting actor would never conclude that I would be an instant celebrity."

Someone asked me, "How did you get involve with this German movie production?" I answered, "I guess I have to thank AJ for the 'movie news' too. Luckily, when I went for the casting, I was not asked to demonstrate my acting skills, it might be embarrasing." While competing with others on various roles, I never had an expectation that I would be taken in as one of the supporting roles.

To cut the story short, I'm playing as one of the personal assistants to Mr Greigg, the wealthy guy in this movie. Yesterday scene at Kokol Hill was the best whereby I just had to sit inside the landcruiser and gave instruction to the driver. We were on the mission to fetch our big boss, Mr Greigg. As for the other scenes, I have to wait for them to call up. :p

Petua-petua ni bukan saya dapat dari nenek moyang saya. lol. Senang saja kalau mau tau cuaca bagus atau tidak?

Yang pertama, kita tengok saja tu langit, kalau gelap, mangkali mau hujan kan, but kadang2 pandai kena tricked ni..gelap terus pandai terang.

Yang kedua, ko jalan2 saja dalam rumah kau, kalau ko nampak banyak tu semut hitam (yang kecil, suka cari benda yang manis) pindah sarang, it means something. Kemarin kan, sia nampak berjuta-juta semut hitam pindah sarang dari kamar mandi sampai kitchen. Saya nampak lagi ada yang angkat telur, but the queen, teda pulak sia nampak. Then, saya ambil tu spray nyamuk...oops, berdosa oh saya. Sorry ah, terlampau banyak populasi kamu wahai semut. After few hours, hujan dari kemarin sampai hari ini.

Anyway, ini cuma petua saja bah, no harm to give a try. Sediakan payung sebelum hujan.

Our team won for both Explorace and Tarik Tali events. The closing ceremony ended at the open hall, with academy award style, teachers were eager to know the votes from the students. To cut the story short, I got the Award for the Most Fashionable Teacher (Male Category, Morning Session), I was speechless for a while, reckoning whether it was an April fool joke or perhaps Hitz Gotcha call. lol. That was the picture being displayed at the big screen, and I was laughing like a clown to see myself in that pose, what an embarrassing moment for a while. :p Once again, thanks to all my voters (students). I have been staying at Hongik University or Hongdae area for quite a while. Such a fantabulous moment to see cool activities particularly from Friday to Sunday (pretty congested, but other days are quite busy too). These are the sweet memories when I was there. I just couldn't envisage that the people in that area could come up with so many creative ideas as to make the place keep happening. awesome.

Insadong, Seoul: Cute Korean has Cute Funny English Accent

The girls for sure love cute korean guys. gotcha. Well, I'm not sure whether you have watched this clip which I recorded at Insadong. I had an awesome moment with my friend while strolling around the place. This Korean guy was showing his amazing skill in creating traditional court cake - kkul tarea (honey skein), made of ripened honey and malt, which in the past presented to the king and valuable guests. My student, Daphne shared this link to me. As I keep watching this clip, especially after listened to his confession on his troubled life: without parents and living on the streets for the past 10 years, pretty sad indeed. It makes me realise that we should be grateful of what we have in life. Though it is not the best performance, but this is the most sincere show ever. Surely, he will be a big star in the future.
